Watch This Movie About The Miking Of Crossing Palettes
This video is a documentary of a project called Crossing Palettes. Crossing Palettes is a cross discipline course that is taught by creative colleagues and professors Lindsey Baker, Graphic Designer, Jessica Newman, Interior Designer and Michael Zonfrilli, Executive Chef. Each major collaborated with the two other majors forming a team to create a showcase of Restaurant concepts. By Restaurant concepts, I mean the graduating culinary students were in a Capstone class in which they were required to come up with ideas for real restaurants that are a viable business model. The project culminated each quarter in a showcase. We decided to document the process for other students and individuals to observe. So take a look at what went into the Making of Crossing Palettes. You will see that it was lots of fun, lots of work, sometimes chaotic but very rewarding for all who participated. |

I posted these resources for the boutique hotel project. The students chose a boutique hotel that they felt could use a redesign and created a completely new identity for the hotel. You can see the work by clicking on the links at the left sidebar and scrolling down.

The common thread connecting the rooms is a fairy tale theme. Whimsical and magical elements reminiscent of Enchanted Forests and children's favorites like Alice In Wonderland, Little Red Riding Hood and Candyland are the themes of some of the rooms. for the complete original blog post go to If It's Hip, It's Here
